Foursquare PivotX plugin
I've created a Foursquare widget for PivotX so it's possible to show your checkins on your weblog. You can show it as a map plugin and / or text plugin. I will soon optimize the code but I first need to find out how PivotX deals with caching and more. So let's give it a try and keep watching this page for more improvements and updates.

This plugin uses the Google Maps v3 API so you don't need to get an API key.
Howto use it ?
- Download the extension from my Github page
- Upload the extension to your PivotX extension folder (pivotx/extensions)
- Login to your PivotX administration screen and goto Extensions/Widgets. Activate the widget.
- Go to the widget administration page and fill in all the details.
- For your private RSS feed URL, login to Foursquare.com and browse to http://foursquare.com/feeds/
- Copy the URL but remove the extension (so remove .rss or .kml)
- After you've configured your plugin, you're ready to roll. Go to your homepage and watch it

Disclaimer
I am still new at PivotX so I may have things wrong, so if you find an error or omission, please say so in the comments.

Goed werk! Dit is meteen een oproep voor mezelf om iets vaker Foursquare te gaan gebruiken
Your extension looks good – both visually and technically. I reviewed the code very quickly. I’m just wondering what missing features in the standard Google Maps extension made it necessary to write this one? I want the GM extension to be as usable as possible, and, yes, I’ll update it to the v3 API so it doesn’t need an API key. (A RSS feed can be read using the rss template tag.)
Anyway, I don’t want to be negative
Keep up the great work – we need more PivotX extensions!

PS! Now I understand why you found the PivotX documentation crappy – we haven’t written the extension part yet. It’s coming …
Nice! Ziet er cool uit!
I haven’t checked all your sites so far, but those five I managed to look through really impressed me! How long are you in this business? There’s always field for improvement, sure thing, but this is what a good site should be!
